Total War: ROME II - Caesar in Gaul - Campaign Pack
Buy Total War: ROME II - Caesar in Gaul - Campaign Pack on the Steam platform at FrsGames.com! Caesar in Gaul is an independent campaign pack for Total War: ROME II that covers Julius Caesar's war of expansion against the Gallic tribes. Players can choose from four playable factions in this conflict: the Gallic Arvernes, the Germanic Suevi, the Belgian Nervians and Rome.
A larger, more detailed campaign map
Caesar's campaign map of Gaul is a more extensive and detailed representation of Gaul and the southern coast of Brittany. Compared to the map of Gaul in ROME II, Caesar in Gaul contains more regions and provinces, more factions (both playable and non-playable) and a series of famous historical generals and statesmen that the player will employ or face depending on the faction he has chosen.
A campaign full of tension
This war, a source of profit and glory for Caesar, made him extremely popular with the people of Rome... but much less so with the senators, who saw him strengthening his own power in a series of events that would ultimately contribute to his ascension to the title of emperor.
A more localized and intense game
The game is more localized in terms of era and geography than Rome II. It includes 18 resource-rich provinces, with new villages and provincial capitals. Many factions employ great historical generals and statesmen. Each turn represents two weeks rather than a year, meaning the seasons make a comeback.
New challenges and a historic battle
Those who reach the halfway point of the game will discover new challenges to tackle that replace the civil wars of ROME II. In addition to the four playable factions, the game includes a new historic battle: the Siege of Alesia. This battle marked the turning point in Caesar's Gallic War and ended with the capture of Vercingetorix.
