The story takes place in the French Middle Ages, a period of history known for its richness but also its dark episodes, in the year 1349. You'll play as Amicia and her little brother Hugo, two children who must survive the gradual invasion of rats and the recurrent pursuits of the Inquisition. Rediscover the French medieval world from a totally different angle through realistic landscapes and a heavy, gripping atmosphere!

Learn to survive in an unforgiving environment

During the A Plague Tale: Innocence adventure, in order to successfully escape the Inquisition and the rat invasion, you'll need to ally with other children who have survived the pandemic.

You'll be able to make potions with your basic knowledge of alchemy to help you progress, and can upgrade various parts of your equipment.

Fight differently

Your special condition means you'll be no match for the Inquisitors.

Rats fear light, fire and water, so solving puzzles will help you stop them or divert them towards the Inquisition troops. Prepare yourself for an exciting fifteen hours punctuated by beautiful cinematics.
