World of Subways 1 - The Path
Buy World of Subways 1 - The Path on FrsGames.com with a Steam key. In 2005, we successfully launched our first addon for MSTS \"Berlin Subway\". Now, we've decided to expand and create our first subway simulator, which lets you experience driving a subway directly on your computer thanks to modern technology and graphics!
Route map:
The New York Path route connects the states of New Jersey and New York for over 50 km. Over 40% of this road is above ground.
Features:
New features of the "New York Route" include:
- Doors open. You'll be able to see this both inside and outside the train, and it's the user who controls this. Doors can open separately or at the same time.
- Brake sparks. You'll be able to see and hear the typical sparks produced by brakes by touching the rails. This effect will be most noticeable in a tunnel, where you'll see the walls light up for a second.
- Train vibrations. As soon as the train starts moving, you'll feel the effects of the vibrations.
- Changeable keyboard keys. Users can modify and customize keyboard key commands to suit their needs.
- 3D cockpit with rotating camera. The user will be able to look around and adjust the viewing angle using a key on the keyboard.
- Free movement on the train. If the train is in the station, the user will be able to switch to a first-person view and get a perspective of the carriage. They can move around using keyboard controls and adjust view angles using the mouse.
- Free movement in the station. You'll be able to get off at all stations to get a first-person view and carry out missions that start on the platform.
- Changing cockpits in terminals. Sometimes you'll need to change cockpits at stations, for example at weekends in Hoboken where there are more people. You'll then have to walk along the platform and change cockpits.
- Real illumination on trains. Pixel illumination allows you to display the correct amount of light. This will display the effects of the lights when you're in the tunnel or driving at night.
Physicals and graphics:
Physical features have been developed taking into account real data used on training simulators. We included the parts of the 3D cockpit that vibrate, as well as the movement of the cars as a function of speed and braking. A 3D graphics engine has been used to enable the calculation and use of real-time illumination effects in the tunnel system. You'll feel as if you're driving at top speed! As you drive through the tunnel, you'll see the effect of the lights on the cockpit. When you're in the dark, as in a real subway, you'll see 3 squares simulating the cockpit's movement: the first under the tunnel illumination, the second outside the illumination field and the third illuminated again.
.Sound:
The Subway Simulator features high-definition 3D sound. Microphones have been placed at the same distance as the human ear during recording to provide a real sound atmosphere if you use headphones.
