    Rising Storm 2: Vietnam is the sequel to PC Gamer's 2011 and 2013 award-winning multiplayer game of the year, published by Tripwire Interactive and developed by Antimatter Games, the team behind the innovative and award-winning asymmetrical gameplay mechanics of the first Rising Storm. For the first time, the intense, realistic action of the Red Orchestra series explores a more modern era, with automatic rifles, portable grenade launchers and advanced weaponry. Rising Storm 2: Vietnam drops players right into the middle of a brutal, authentic recreation of the Vietnam War.

    Features

    Rising Storm 2: Vietnam features intense tactical combat for up to 64 players between American and Vietnamese forces, each with its own tactical skills and ascendants, such as napalm fire, artillery barrages, surface-to-air missiles, booby traps, ambushes and more. You'll find many of the weapons of the period, such as the M16, M14, M60, M79 and M3 Grease Gun on the American side; and the Type 56 assault rifle (a Chinese copy of the famous AK-47), RPG-7s, MAT-49s, SKSs and many other weapons on the Vietnamese side.

    The weapons also feature numerous upgrades, such as adjustable stocks or bayonets, as well as a new advanced recoil system inspired by the extraordinary maneuverability of the weapons for which Red Orchestra is famous.

    Players choosing the American camp will be able to fly 3 different helicopters: the UH-1H Huey transport helicopter, the OH-6 Loach reconnaissance helicopter and the powerful AH-1G Cobra attack helicopter.

    Incarve yourself as a U.S. Army soldier or a Vietnamese resistance fighter. Rising Storm 2: Vietnam lets players control a soldier in the U.S. Army or Marine Corps, or a fighter in the Vietnamese militia or guerrilla forces: the VNPA (Vietnamese People's Army) or the Vietcong.

    Each map is a faithful recreation of the Vietnamese environment, and the meticulous attention to detail will enhance players' immersion in the conflict. You'll find the jungle, of course, but also urban combat scenes, on hillsides, in support bases, rice paddies, plantations and many other authentic locations.

    At the same time, you'll also be able to play in a wide range of combat environments.

    The game offers several modes, including the famous Red Orchestra Territories mode, the new Supremacy mode, for large-scale battles involving helicopters and tunnels, and the all-new Skirmish mode and its smaller maps for 16-player games or less.

    These new, smaller maps allow for a more competitive style of team play, akin to the small-group skirmishes characteristic of the Vietnamese conflict.

    The enhanced squad system lets players create their own squad, name it, invite friends and choose its color. This allows you to easily identify your squad during gameplay and on the map, communicate with it via a dedicated radio frequency, and benefit from teamwork bonuses.
