Sudden Strike 4: Road to Dunkirk includes two new mini-campaigns with four new single-player missions based on the events leading up to the rescue of Allied soldiers from the port of Dunkirk during "Operation Dynamo". In the German campaign, you'll have to break through the valiant French defensive lines of the Lille pocket, capture the town of Dunkirk and advance to destroy a British warship. In the Allied campaign, you'll have to launch the counter-attack at the Battle of the Comynes-Ypres Canal to enable the evacuation of as many soldiers as possible.

Sudden Strike 4: Road to Dunkirk introduces more than 10 new units, including the German SIG 33 Bison artillery and the French Char B1 tank. On the British side, the A10 Cruiser Mk. II tank and the destroyer HMS Ivanhoe make their appearance.
