He then had the urge to recount these events and share what it feels like during a conflict. What drives crowds to act with such rage and aggression? How can the police feel outnumbered? Riot - Civil Unrest lets you experience these conflicts on both sides with no real winner.

Arrest the police

You'll be able to use several techniques to manage the crowd: passive or aggressive methods. You'll be able to command assault, artillery and tactical brigades, and call in vans, water cannons or even a tank. You'll have to choose between smoke grenades, rubber and plastic bullets or even live ammunition.

Arrest the rioters

Grab the heads of rioters (armed or passive) and journalists. Feed their anger and the crowd will react aggressively, or try to defuse the situation with tactical reorganizations or retreats. Fight authority with Molotov cocktails, fireworks, paper balls, stones, street furniture or the power of the media.

Many game modes

You'll be able to try out 16 campaign levels divided into four scenarios, play all 32 levels as a rioter or policeman, take on the AI in single-player mode, or play two against the AI on the same computer.

Create your riots with the level editor

Customize the look of the conflict by importing your own backgrounds, position elements, vehicles and obstacles to your liking, choose starting points for each side and their level of aggression. Add lighting and weather effects, vehicles, particle effects and filters. Customize character skins, clothing and equipment.
