You play the role of a Valkyrie, from the Old Norse valkyrja meaning "one who chooses the dead". Embark on a quest that will take you through strange lands where Norse mythology meets Lovecraft.

Two ways to play

Play solo or with friends locally (up to 4 players). Die for Valhalla! offers two ways to discover the story:

Beat Em Up mode

This mode procedurally generates a larger world with a more forgiving difficulty curve. You can revive your friends with potions or discover the hilarious side effects they offer, or both at the same time!

Rogue-lite mode

This mode features a smaller world with a steeper difficulty curve as well as permanent death. Some of the potions you find have negative effects, so you have to figure out which ones to avoid in each game!
