Urban Warfare - Street brawls introduce a new tactical gameplay challenge as Mech combat shifts from open, natural landscapes to sprawling urban worlds. Electronic warfare - The return of these lost technologies will forever change the battlefields of the 31st century. Mechs equipped with Electronic Counter Measures (ECM) and nearby allied units are cloaked from enemy targeting systems and immune to indirect fire. In addition, Mechs equipped with an Active Probe can reveal, locate and target enemy units that would remain hidden without these technologies.

Two new BattleMechs - The experimental Raven 1X packs high-precision electronic warfare equipment that combines ECM technology and active probe systems into a lightweight chassis. The Javelin offers a good compromise between speed and firepower, and has a high damage potential in hand-to-hand combat.

New Flashpoints - A wide variety of new short branching stories that link mercenary missions, crew conversations, special events and rare bonus rewards.

Three new enemy vehicles - The Tank packs a nice variety of weapons to fight at all ranges with speed and agility. The Packrat is a support vehicle equipped with a prototype version of the ECM, and the Rotunda is a reconnaissance vehicle equipped with a prototype version of the active probe.

New Encounter - Attack-Defense is a demanding new mission type in which your mercenaries must destroy an enemy base to stop a steady stream of assailants before they overwhelm your forces and eject you from your employer's base.
