Warhammer 40,000: Gladius - Relics of War (GOG)

Gladius Prime was once a planet of peace. Now there's nothing but war. Warhammer 40,000: Gladius Relics of War takes you into a world of horror and violence. Four factions will engage in a brutal conflict for domination of the planet's resources. In this first 4X turn-based strategy game set in Warhammer 40,000 you'll lead one of these four factions: the Astra Militarum, the Space Marines, the Orks or the Necrons, each with its own gameplay, technology tree, units and heroes.

Exploration

Play one of four iconic Warhammer factions (Astra Militarum, Space Marines, Orks or Necrons), each with its own gameplay style and unique technologies. Explore a randomly generated world filled with special features and menacing wildlife that can break your troops' morale. Secure control of powerful ancient artifacts to gain an advantage against rival factions.

Expansion

Construct cities, buildings and fortifications to expand your empire and produce an army to defeat your enemies. Harvest resources and research new technologies to maintain and improve your war machine.

Exploitation

Progress through different storylines with each faction as their destiny on Gladius Prime, a warp-infected world, unfolds. In the end, when all the dust settles, only one faction will emerge victorious.

Extermination

Order a wide arsenal of devastating weapons, issue decrees in cities and launch tactical operations. Recruit units of heroes who possess special distinct skills and can be equipped with items ranging from advanced grenades to fearsome relics of the past. As they become increasingly powerful by gaining ranks, they'll transform into true champions of your cause.
