History

Mai Toyama is looking to escape her traumatic past. She enrolls at Wordsworth, an all-girls dormitory in the small mountain town known as Le Choara, where her sur, Sanae, is rumored to have been last seen. Hopeful Mai sets out to find her loved ones, but is soon confronted by terrifying locals lurking throughout the town after dark. At night, the streets of Choara are filled with Shadow Matter - a group of horrible, menacing creatures. Around every corner Mai discovers that her hope of finding her sur lies in the long-buried secrets that haunt Le Choara.

Features

• Overkill brings huge rewards - The Overkill system is an added feature where characters can rack up damage beyond an enemy's health for bonus experience! Try to inflict as much damage on all monsters for greater rewards.
• Beware the Berserker - During dungeon exploration and battle, a faceless black figure will appear out of nowhere. The figure will also display an attack zone once it appears. Mai and her team must move away from the Berserker's attack zone, as it will instantly kill anyone with a single blow. Flee from the Berserker in the dungeon or defeat all existing monsters on the battlefield to escape!
• Day n'Night - Mai will have to explore the town of Le Choara during the day and talk to the townspeople to find clues about the whereabouts of her sur. By night, Mai will make her way through stylized dark creatures in a turn-based RPG. Experience the story through the lens of a visual novel during the day, and battle her against horrific creatures at night!
• Don't call it a Knockback - The Knockback system is back in Death end re; Quest 2, but this time Mai and her team can hit Shadow Matter even harder! Combine your attacks by throwing monsters at the other members of the group!
