Assassin's Creed Odyssey takes you on a journey to ancient Greece, with a vast open world that lets you rediscover this exciting period in history. Play as a man (Alexios) or a woman (Kassandra) and choose your side between Sparta and Athens to take part in the battle raging between the two cities in 431 B.C.

Ancient Greece is modeled as a highly realistic open world, thanks to a highly advanced graphics engine that leaves plenty of room for exploration. Missions can be played in different ways to lead to different turns in the course of your adventure, which will see you dismantle an evil cult.

The combat and evolution system

Fans of the previous opuses will be delighted to rediscover the sea combat system of Assassin's Creed Origins, and will once again be able to enjoy a new dimension of battles, this time with ancient Greek ships.

A multiple skill tree will offer you complete management of your character to evolve as you see fit. By defeating your enemies you'll gain experience that will allow you to deepen the various techniques. The Assassin skill tree allows you to hone your stealth and stealth techniques, the Weapons tree allows you to improve in melee combat using weapons like the sword, and finally the Hunter tree favors ranged combat techniques.

Finally, each piece of your equipment has unique characteristics and can be upgraded.

Managing your character's relationships

In Assassin's Creed Odyssey you can also play on your character's relationships with NPCs to influence your evolution and the turn of certain events. Maintain hostile or friendly relationships, up to and including love.

Dialogues offer numerous options that will change depending on the path you take as you progress through the story, giving you great freedom of action.
