The Energy Recovery System: a new strategic challenge
GT cars use the all-new Energy Recovery System (ERS), which changes the game completely. As the car travels around the track, it accumulates energy, which managers can decide to use in one of two ways: in Hybrid mode, to save fuel, or in Turbo mode, to give the car a huge boost of power and carry out spectacular overtaking and defending.
The ERS can be fully integrated into a GT car's fuel consumption system.
The ERS can totally change a manager's approach to race strategy, adding a whole new dimension. Rival teams will also be able to choose between Hybrid and Turbo modes, and managers will need to keep a close eye on their opponents' strategies if they hope to stay one step ahead and optimize their performance.

A modified simulation model and thrilling racing
The vehicles operate in a modified version of the simulation model, so as to better reflect real-life GT cars. Differences in braking and cornering speed, tire wear, pit stop times and the impact of fuel are particularly noticeable.
This is the first time that a GT car has been used in a simulation model.
The bunching of the field is much tighter, and the first laps are often hectic and adrenaline-filled, with frequent breathtaking overtaking action.
Play with GT Pack rules thanks to Steam Workshop
From a political point of view, if a manager has the GT Pack, three-stage qualifying and the Energy Recovery System can be voted into the single-seater category. You can use Steam Workshop to start a game with these rules active!
