The ridge of the Wasatch Plateau, the Soldier Summit is a 69-mile rail line connecting the two communities of Provo and Helper via a pass, and is the highest point on the rail line between Denver and Rio Grande de lUtah. Discovered by Franciscan priests, and long before that already used by Native Americans, this pass has been an important transportation route for many years.
