Shenmue III

Yu Suzuki's famous license returns with a third installment after a long absence, and attempts to bring you a new immersive open world. Shenmue III is an action RPG that sees you take on the role of Ryo Hazuki as he continues his adventures in the company of a new comrade.

Shenmue III story

The game continues the adventure of Ryo Hazuki, a young man seeking to avenge the death of his father, killed in the family dojo by a member of the Chinese mafia. You'll set off in search of the answers the protagonist has been asking himself over the course of the saga's various episodes, in a rich, realistic universe. This opus does not conclude Ryo's story, so we can hope for a sequel in the future.

A realistic open world

Just like its precursor, it uses the codes of Shenmue I, which was released in 1999 and was one of the precursors of the genre. You'll enjoy an open world rich in NPCs and activities, where you'll even manage the hero's life with the great realism that characterizes the license, and be able to do many of the activities on offer in the various neighborhoods. These NPCs are also intelligent, and function permanently according to the weather, the time of day and the day of the week, adding even more realism to the whole. The night/day system is always present, and you'll be able to interact with a very large number of external elements.

Phases redoubling their dynamism

Shenmue III features free real-time confrontation phases where Ryo can exploit his wide range of techniques, which he can develop as the adventure progresses.

Roundly executed QTEs will also energize certain cinematics to give them added depth and keep your senses on high alert.
