ZUSI 3 Aerosoft Edition is a PC train simulation developed by railway companies for locomotive driver training. It offers precise prototype routes, authentic driving and braking physics, fully functional prototype signalling, realistic timetables and various PZB, LZB and ETCS train protection systems.
This train simulator is particularly suited to ambitious drivers, while beginners can easily immerse themselves in the world of train simulation thanks to a variety of support options - for example, setting less restrictive protection systems for an easier learning curve.

ZUSI 3 offers 500 km of rideable routes, including the Cologne-Düsseldorf route developed for the Aerosoft Edition, the Upper Ruhr Valley railroad, the Heide Westerland marsh railroad and the ICE Kassel-Göttingen route. Rolling stock comprises over 200 locomotive variants and EMUs/DMUs, ??including the ICE as well as DB cl 101, cl 141, cl 146 and cl 185. More than 150 passenger cars and 200 freight cars complete the trains.
The main features of ZUSI 3 are:
- Hundreds of trains can run simultaneously in the same time slot, possibly affecting each other.
- An autopilot controls all trains other than the user's.
- Vehicles controllable via keyboard and mouse, cab control devices such as the Raildriver, or joysticks and joysticks.
