Features

Tempestus Scions (Astra Militarum): Militarum Tempestus Scions are often viewed with fear or resentment by regular troops - nicknames such as "glorious boys" and "big toy soldiers" are common. Yet this rancor is nothing to the Scions themselves. Trained in covert operations and rapid insertion attack tactics, they go into battle confident that every action they take is for the good of the Imperium itself. Immortals (Necrons): Even before biotransfer, Immortals were the elite soldiers of the Necrontyr and marched at the vanguard of their galactic conquests. Returning in endless metallic bodies, they are now the stormtroopers of every army in the mortal world. Where Necron Warriors are mere cattle to be fed to the enemy's weapons, Immortals are far more valuable to their Lords and will be deployed accordingly. Heavily armed and armored, they will stop at nothing to achieve their masters' objectives and will often be found at the heart of any overwhelming offensive or punishing counterattack. Flash Gitz (Orks): Among the wealthiest and most obnoxious of their warrior race, Flash Gitz roam the galaxy in search of outrageous acts of piracy and vandalism. They hire themselves out as mercenaries to Ork gangs, wallowing in the envy of Boyz jealous of their flashy gear and prodigious dakka. Despite their ostentation, Flash Gitz offer a Warboss all the killing power he pays for. Entirely lethal in gun battles, boarding actions and the like, a school of Gitz opening fire is anything but cataclysmic. A punishing shower of bolts and energy bullets fills the air, Flash Gitz victims decomposing among sprays of blood and flowers of flame before the Gitz crush the lives of those left standing. Land Raider (Space Marines): The ground trembles and enemies flee in fear as the mighty Land Raider advances towards battle. Massively armored and all but indestructible, the noble war chariot crushes walls and rolls over rubble while hammering volley after volley into the enemy. Beams of incandescent energy strike enemy tanks, slicing through their armored hulls and reducing them to blazing fireballs. Bolter shells thunder into enemy flesh before exploding in frightening sprays of blood. The death toll rises with each passing moment as the Land Raider advances through the war zone, especially once the tank's assault ramp lowers and its Adeptus Astartes passengers charge in to add to the carnage. Neophyte Hybrids (neutral): Every Cultist is agile and robust - hardened over a lifetime of hard work, their physical strength and reactions are enhanced by the alien genes hidden within them. Neophyte Hybrids bear no outward marks of the Patriarch's sacred touch; as their group leaders tell them, their blessings are more of the soul than the body. These third- and fourth-generation hybrids can pass for human - some are even clever enough to infiltrate the Astra Militarum. When the cult attacks, these Neophytes show their true colors. Emerging from sewers, catacombs and dark barracks, they overwhelm their enemies in such numbers that they can seize control of planetary defenses in the first hours of conquest.
